Grizzly 660 Performance
#1
Hey,
I have an 03' Grizzly 660, I have a K&N air filter, its rejetted, and there is a slip on MBRP exhaust. I also have an Outlaw Clutch kit. But i dont have bigger tires, I was thinking of getting some but i like the incredible acceleration that the clutch kit gives me. I was wondering what performance parts that i could buy that would increase top speed, but i dont have too much $$ im looking to spend 350$ or less. Can any body help me????????????????????
Thanks

You could get bigger, light tires. If you get a lighter tire it shouldn't effect your acceleration but it will increase your top speed by a little. Maybe look into some big mudlites? Also just running higher air pressure in your current tires will give you a higher top speed, as long as you stay away from mud and snow Another thing you could do if you aren't into mud bogging is cutting some holes in your airbox. If it can breathe better it will run faster. Gaining more top speed is hard to do without compromising something else in some area as far as performance. Good luck!
EDIT: I forgot to mention something. If you can get a small(portable) air compressor, then you will be able to adjust your tire pressure for the conditions you are riding(see my above tire pressure remark). Never underestimate the effect tire pressure has on performance! Get a compressor and get some use out of that nice DC outlet your bike has on it

I've got the MudLites and I love them. They are also very economical. You can get them cheaper than some of the chinese made tires, and they are ITP's. You will not believe the difference if your still running the stock tires. Once you change tires, they will be the first Mod to your next bike.
I put the 28's on mine and am thinking about the outlaw clutch kit, is it worth the money?
