Default raptor for quadzilla?

I am very tempted, wow this zilla is awesome, I also called up the guy and asked if he wanted a trade, maybe Ill put alittle money in there too, he said Yeh probably. Anyways this thing was fully restored from a performance shop around here, every bearing replaced, trinity stage 4 engine, sand blasted and powder coated frame,, I mean the works. Heres some pics of it the pix click here Anyways are they fairly reliable?
This thing does 100mph+ and eats banshees like nothing!

That zilla looks brand new. The tires, fenders, frame, suspension, and most importantly engine look excellent. Check out the forum at macdizzy.com, there's a thread there called 'LT500 Motor Rx' that will tell you everything there is to know about that engine. Plus it's f'n cool.

My bike is pretty clean, but that one is really nice! It would cost you about $5,000 to $7,000 to build another bike like that. The $5,000 is if you looked for good used parts and did it yourself. Ask him if the case inserts were done, (these reinforce the cases and main bearings, a weak spot in these motors) and ask if he installed oversize head studs. If it's an 87 cylinder it will have six studs. These were prone to loosening so if he didn't, you just need to retorque them frequently, not a show stopper in my opinion. The case inserts cost around $400- $500 and are really necessary. I'd buy it if you want a monster. See if you can test ride it first to see if it's for you, it's gonna be a handful.
