Amsoil or any other synthetic oil is fine. Polaris does not produce their own oil it is produced for them. As long as it meets industry standards and is certified you can safely use it. The dealers just put some fear into their customers so they will buy the over priced Polaris oil. Been running Polaris two stroke sleds for years on amsoil and not one single issue. The Polaris oil actually is harder on the exhaust valves on the sleds then the amsoil or Klotz. Some of the best oil out there for synthetic is Klotz, Amsoil, Blue Marble and I have heard good things about Yamalube. The Polaris is not bad oil but it is overpriced and no better then the pervious mentioned oil. Jay
