for those of you who wanted me to keep you updated on the scrambler 400 i bought for $850. (it didnt run and the guy said it needed a top end rebuild) here goes. i took it to the dealer so they could go over the whole thing. They called today to give me an estimate... he said the topend does need rebuilt, along with new tierod ends, rear shock recharged, a new chain guide, and a few other minor things. He said he could do the wiseco piston for the same price as the polaris piston. i went with the wiseco of coarse. total price for everything is going to be $600. which i thought wasnt to bad. the only problem is its going to take about 2 weeks before i get it back(because of holidays). i am going to loose my mind waiting. Well i guess i will just have to ride my boys' little 50 around the yard that they are getting for christmas until then. oh, and i ordered the service manual thru them also. thanks for all your help. i am sure i will be calling on you all in the future.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This would be a good time to upgrade to the new style of tie rods and ends it may cost you a few bucks but it will pay off in the long run.
