Tina, my dealer is Doug Nicholas and from what I know about things- he knows his stuff. Right now he is "reworking" the cams and he ground it to make it work better. He does all kinds of testing for HPD, Aaeen, and Rath. These guys make one or two and then send them to him and he says what is wrong or how to fix it. Anyways, I could check with him. I think people are already getting them from him. I could also give you the number if you were interested. But anyways, that is my limited knowledge. Brad

Tina, after extensive testing with cams, the stock cams yeild the best overall performance. Superbike was able to re-work the stock cams to get more power, but alot of money for a small gain. ( changed ramp angle to increase the opening and closing of the valve). I think all of us reguardless of the shop we use are using wiseco pistons. (just different overbore). Save the money for the cams and have what ever piston you choose lightened. There is alot of extra material that can be removed and makes a big difference. thanks for all the replys! As for me waiting, I REALLY need to put thesee additions on ASAP for the race series and was told to keep the longivity of the motor, I REALLY need to do this, is WEB cam any good? Does JE make a piston for the Predator? How isthe Weisco? Actually Brad~~~ I went through Nicholascycle for the Vortex. VERY nice guy, this is actually where I intended on buying the mods today from.He is a great person to deal with and will cont. to buy from him.As for Superbike shop........No offense,Ive just heard WAY TOO MANY horror stories to go that route, but I really appreciate all the advice, I knew I could count on everyone! Whats this Electra all about ? Anyone know?

Well first of all, I would only believe what I had first hand experience with, alot of people get on here and spread false info just because they are jelous. If you are dealing with Nicholas Cycle, I would listen to what advice he has to give. The biggest mistake I see people make is mixing and matching parts. Superbike has there combination, HPD has a combination, Nicholas has his way of making power, stick with one person and use the combination they suggest. What works in one combination will not work in another. Pick one person and stick with them. Just because you buy alot of good parts does not mean you will make good power, it all has to work together. People get mad and discredit shops because they buy parts that actually lose power, it's a combination of parts that make the big power, not any individual part.
