jetting the v-force, did i screw up or what ????
#1
ok i just found out that the shop that put my yoshi pipes on got a moose performance jet kit and the instructions on it says below 3000 feet with pipes that you use 124 front & 128 rear jets, so now i have the old ones in my hands and they are 135 & 140. it seems to me that i am now sending less fuel into the carbs, not more fuel. the v-700 seem tobe running good i just didnt notice a big gain after the pipes, maybe i know why now.
does any one know what jet i should goto, the highest in this kit is a 138 i am in NC and to my finding i am only at 800 feet, seems low but that what the airports are saying,, i have also put the dalton clutch kit with the drive pulley on and the k&n air filter.
like i was saying the atv is running fine and i am thinking of putting some tpi vents and the dg snorkel toget more air to the beast, so i may just wait untill i get those goodies on the machine before i rejet.
well any comments are welcome and greatly appreciated.
merry x-mass and happy new years to all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your jetting is correct if the needles were also changed.....they flow much more than the stockers.
I am not sure if Dynojet use the same numbering system as other jets when it comes to size????

I do not know about the moose kit ... but I know that the dyno jet kit has much smaller needles, so the "recommended"
jet size is smaller than the stock jets with stock needles. However, that does not mean that you can not continue to
increase the jet size and available air

Had the dial-a-jets installed before I installed the dynojet kit.
As I kept increasing the amount of air, and increasing the jet size, I reached a point where I developed a mid range "cough".
I decided that I wanted to change to the dynojet system to gain the advantage of the adjustable needles.
It was my opinion that the dynojet kit worked best with the dial-a-jets turned off.

i see that you are running 155/150 with dynojet needles, that sounds like alot more than my 140/135,
was wondering what air mods yuo did to your machine,
i wont to install the dg snorkel but i am afraid it will hamper my trail ridding in deep mud holes!!!!!
thanks again for the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CRASHDOG, I added two slide valves to the top of my lid. I run both of them wide open with this jet setup. I have purchased a dual snorkel pipe .... but have not installed it yet.
