Default Trailboss 330 and Honda 250ex

Hi, I'm not looking to **** anyone off regarding these two quads, just looking for input regarding a quad for my wife. She has no interest in using a clutch. We ride primarily cross country in the California desert and occasionally in the sand dunes. She likes to cruise and take it easy. She recently rode a scramber 400 and thought it was a bit much for her. Anyway, if anyone has input on these two quads, especially the polaris, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Jeff.

The Trailboss would probably be realy nice for here. It is bigger than the honda too. Have you also considered the Trailblazer 250? It is the same size as the scrambler but with a 250cc 2-stroke. There are a lot more hop ups for it than for the honda, in case she wants more power in the future. Plus the LE Trailblazers look SWEET!!!

I have a scrambler 500 myself, and the wife has the 250ex and she absolutely loves it. It's very easy to ride, especially when the going gets rough because it's alot easier to control, smaller and lighter weight.
the trailboss is big and heavy compared to the 250ex and may frighten her on aggressive trails, where the honda is more forgiving. One guy was selling a new trailboss after only 1 week because the wife said it was too big. have her sit on each one and let her decide which she feels more comfortable and safer on. my wife will ride mine once in a while but feels at home on the ex. plus it goes forever on a tank of gas and you never have to adjust the chain. it's a great machine! good luck!

My wife fell in love with my Trail Boss when we were dating, so we went looking for ATV's. She is rather petite, but still can ride it pretty nicely. So we got her a leftover Magnum 325 2x4, which is also shaft drive. True, this machine is heavy, but it is pretty nimble, and my petite wife likes it. The more she rides it, the more she feels she has control of it. Also, I might add, that the Trail Boss and Magnum may have a better suspension than the 250ex. That is very forgiving for those unexpected holes in a field or trail!

My wife is small and she loved the trailboss that we had for 2 yrs. The suspension is better then the 250ex and with the auto tranny she will always be in the right gear. Put 2 lbs of extra air in the tires and it will steer easyer for her. She will love it.

The Boss has a super soft seat and springs. My wife would ride two hours and be DONE on the Warrior. We have done seven hours seat time in a day with her on the Boss, and she was still ready for a ride

The Boss loves the Boss!!!(so I do because she does!)

A Tom-Boy may like the EX better, but the Boss can handle trails well and be VERY comportable at the same time.

i own a 2000 trailboss 325 and im 14 and i love it, i will totally agree that is not the fastest out there my friend has a 250 ex and we raced and i pulled off the line quicker but when he hit 4th he was gone lol but i rode his and the ride seems to be a little more tippy feeling and much more rough and hey if she wants to mud you can put on sum niced sized mud tires and still have a nice ride, im sure a wife that is not a speed freak will love the versatility of it and the big seat
