Default Z250 Oil in Airbox

Today I stood my Z250 straight up on end to attach some skidplates. When I put it back down on the ground I noticed that the little clear plastic thing on the bottom of my airbox drain hole was full of oil. I took the airbox lid off, and there was about 1/8 inch of motor oil sitting in the bottom of it. When I washed it right before that I took the clear plastic thing off and cleaned it out, so the oil must have gotten in the airbox when I had it stood up on end.

So, could that mean that something is wrong???? I'm guessing that can't be good.

I have had that problem with my scrambler. I did a search on this sight about it and found that it is normal after standing it on end or rolling it over. The oil comes up the engine breather hose that comes from the crankcase. Check to see if your Z has a crankcase breather hose.

Thanks for the info Dazeys. I checked and my Z does have a breather hose. I guess that's my problem. Guess Suzuki didn't do their homework on that one. One of the ways for transporting the Z is by standing it up on end. Hope people remember to bring some extra oil with them next time they try transporting their's like that.

I have all ways had this problem with past quads ie. Warrior, Raptor and the Breeze. If you have a hose clamp from an autoparts store you can clamp off the breather tube when transporting. Just REMEMBER to take it off when you unload it.
