this guy I know has a twist throttle off a 400ex and I could get it real cheap. its a motion pro and comes with the cable. my question is will this fit on a 300ex? it seems like the cable should fit. can somebody help me out please? I need to know pretty soon beofre he gets rid of it. so please tell me what you think. bye

 

I checked my Dennis Kirk catalog and the part numbers are different. p/n 51-886 for the 300
and 51-2645 for the 400. also the 400 kit is 3 bucks higher. The 300 kit is priced at 38.99

 

so it won't work? I wonder what is different about them?

 

We had a twist throttle on the 400ex but hated it. Sold it to our neighbor who has a 300ex and it works fine. It is a Motion Pro also.
