What do you mean the covers are all NH1. I want to put a blue tinted bulb in my 400ex is there such a thing and can you put a brighter bulb in there besides a 30 will the stator hold a 50 or 45.

BLUE BULBS, damn that would look cool as hell, never thaught about doing that but now im gonna, just take your bulb to autozone and match it up to other bulbs, i wouldnt recommend any higher than 30, remember: when your stator is powering your headlights its also recharging your battery, theres only so may amps to go around

I had light bulb covers. Wal-Mart special like $1.00 they looked awesome. I had red ones on my yellow ex. But they kept on falling off. I tried using Zip ties and wire. But nothing would keep them off. Needless to say i threw them away and never regreted spending a buck.

Don't quote me on this but i think an H3 bulb will fit but you'll prolly have to rig it up.

My brother-in-law just replaced his bulbs with higher wattage lights. I think he got them at Auto Zone or something like that. I'll try to get a hold of him tomorrow and let you know what he stuck in there.

Hey if you think the blue light idea is cool check out my custom headlight covers they don't block any light whatsoever or if they do you can't tell
