Going back over it it looks as if he started the crap by saying the DS is worth 10 bucks. I figured you gave him a real good dose of NOS and got him upset!!! LOL As far as the smack goes.....everyone is naturally gonna be partial to what they ride (well...at least most). I wish I had a Craycraft 730 stretched-out and laid low for dragging. I wish I had a turbo Banshee when I really wanted to hurt someone's pride.....no, destroy it, in a drag race! I wish I had a Sparks 505EX on alky to really "SURPRISE" all the fast boys!! I am pretty sure it was 02bansheeman's quad that I was in front of on my back two wheels my last river trip, at 300ft...at 700ft, until I let it down, but Aaron wasn't on the seat. LOL I love my big, heavy, smooth riding, super-sturdy no-good P.O.S. Bombardier!!!! And for about 8.00 in NOS jets (which I already have) I can add all the hp I need to maybe be a close race for the super-Banshee of Aaron's, with him driving! All I need now is T-I-M-E to get to the river and ride!!!!

hey boxman where did you find a full trinity racing exhaust for 485?

 

yea that rider has never been on a shee before on sand he was leaving the line at like 300 rpm in 1st gear and i was leaving at like 12000rpm in 2nd gear

 

dsboy650Baja, I got mine direct from Trinity. It was one of the very first ones (I was told) and came with proper jets and a few cool stickers. I love the way it looks. It is WAY loud, especially under the NOS. Power seems to be ok. I had to work out a little leak problem where the head pipes go into the single tube but it was no biggy. Overall I am satisfied and haven't seen an exhaust I like the looks of better!

Aaron....I knew it had to be something. No way a 500lb stock 4-stroke with a 25 shot could keep up with a drag Banshee...right???? LMAO

 

Hey Boxman, how did you fix the leak in the headers and the union. I have the same prob with my graydon, and am looking for a fix.

 

"Chamberseal" is what I've found to work the best. I bought it at my local dealer for about 7 bucks. It will still leak from time to time when I first crank it if it's real cold out, but I think that will be almost impossible to eliminate without doing some swaging, and I really don't want to mess with that. It is a putty type sealant tape. Good luck and let me know if I can help any. I have heard the Graydon makes good power!
