Where can I buy a set of the 8 carbon fiber and 1 kevlar friction plates for the DS? I don't want to buy the whole clutch kit with steels and springs. Theres no part number for just the friction plates?

Last time I tried ordering plates by indiviual plate part number it took forever!!!

Stock clutch & Ron Woods 60% springs is the best way to go.

Scooby is running more power than most.

I tryed the Barnett with the best Pami springs and they sliped after about 10 passes. I went back to the stock clutches with the Pami spring and no more problems.

Sorry this isn't much help.

Scooby do you ever ride Pismo? I would like to see your bike run. How much hp are you putting down with that thing? Later

i need the extra friction plate to increase the surface area.

with enough spring pressure, the barnett doesn't slip. you will lose a fiber or two though. if the barnett does slip, it goes fast and contaminates the oil.

i use (9) 1.5mm steel plates, re-surfaced. the 1.2mm steel plates will warp.

Barnett says they don't have a part number for the friction plates as a set, you have to special order them by individual part number:

carbon fiber friction plate: K-1000CF
outer kevlar friction plate: K-1000B
