I am seriously considering this project as well. I came across a cbr600 engine for cheap and about to buy a 250r frame and use alot of my stock 250r parts on it for now. The motor has been bored and is rated at 108hp. The frame will need some serious modification, but its a project and Im all for it.

The motor sticks out quite a bit, probably two or three inches on both sides on an R frame. What I was plannning on doing was moving or tilting the motor and building some kind of shifter linkage like on the street bikes or like a warriors. Probably have to cut the plastic under the tanks to fit the motor under there. Talk to oldsandman on here, he used a quadzilla frame with a 900 in it.
