Happy New year all,

Looking for info on what everyone uses to plug a tire on the trail if you get a flat.... And secondly what folks use inside a tire to prevent flats...

I use slime, there are other products out there as well.
I got a tire fix kit also, it has rubber screws, so you goop them up with the rubber cement, screw them in the hole, and air up with co2 cartridges.

Putting slime in your tires is not the best idea, i put it in my Banshee's tires and that thing will vibrate all over the place at high speeds, slime throws the tires balance off...

I use regular plugs and i carry the necessary tools to plug a tire with and a portable air compressor which is very small...

so it sounds like plugs r the way to go then, but I ride a sport quad, looks like now I will have to buy a fender bag to hold everything that I need to plug it.
