I am looking for something more sporty for trails that handles well... Did they really fix all the problems for 04?

Just how fast is it?
Can you get out of tight spots, since it don't have reverse?
I know that HPD sells pred stuff, it their a lot of other companies that sell mods for it as well?

How does it compare to the Raptor? in performance and handling?

I ride mostly fast trials and do some jumping every now and then... I have the scram for mud etc BTW, i am not selling the scrambler its here to stay![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

And this is the big one, you all know boys will be boys my bud has a 440ex with some other mods will i be able to take him in drags and on the trails?

I can answer some of those. HPD, Hot Seat, Aaen, Nicholas Cycle, and Superbike Shop are the performance shops for the Pred that I know of. I hear that it is just about even in top end with a Rappy (stockvs stock) at around 72-74mph. And the Honda shouldnt be a problem[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

not quite as much torque as a raptor but it handles way better.

 

What all did they change on the 04s, I have heard tranny and swing arm so far, just wondering, one of my riding buddies has an 03.

 

top motor mount, rear fenders, rear hubs and wheels... i think they might be a few other things.

 

hey i got a ?. what about the predator and the DS650. i know the DS is faster. thats what i here anyway. just how fast is it (DS). not that i care how fast they go. i ride woods. trials, mud and hills. I love the look of the ds and i am thinking about geting that over the predator but im still not shur. I to am going to keep my scramy..

 

the ds is faster on top... it doesnt handle as well as the pred but has more torque... i love my pred in the trails/woods.. it does fine but if you like one quad more than the other then id say go with it... you cant really go wrong with any of the big quads out nowa days.

but obviously if you get a pred then we might respect ya a lil more.. hehe

 

So the pred and rappy are pretty much equal in top speed stock.. the pred handles way better..

What problems have you pred guys had so far?

Anymore opinions on these 2 models pros and cons?
