Default Oil Change - Magnum 325

Please forgive my newness...I just bought a Magnum 325 4x2 and am really enjoying it. It made hunting this year great. Is there anything special I need to know about changing the oil and filer. I have the filter and oil. The best I can see, its just a drain plug on the bottom and filter. The owners book shows a different looking drain plug than what I'm looking at. Anyone with a 325 have any info. Thanks in advance....

Nope...just a simple drain and fill. The oil filter spins on and off. Just be careful not to get any mud in and around the gasket contact area while the filter is being changed.

Just FYI, and maybe saving your knees a little: Head to the drain plug with a 14mm ratchet with a short extension. Oh, and something I learned last month: Might be a good idea to have a couple of extra drain plugs on hand. I was trying to change the fluids in our two quads. I had all the fluids/filters/etc. Except extra drain plugs. Well, my Boss's plug has gotten buggered up over the past four years, and I had to drive 20 miles one way through city traffic to get them. So now I have one extra on hand.

I always hated getting to the drain plug on my old magnum, right up against the skid plate.
