Default who programs vortex ignotions

i want to add a rev limiter to all of the maps on my vortex ignition. who does the programing on these and how much does it cost?

i thought only the last 4 maps had limiters on them. where is the limiter at?

Interesting. Vortex sent me this in an Excel spreadsheet.

My understanding was it could change with the shop you bought it from assuming they had the programmer kit.

I'll pay more attention to the tach this weekend when zooming around at Dumont.

Slowride,

They can be potentially re-programed. I guess no shop does it or is willing to do it. It might have something to do with problems maintaining a stable power curve AFTER the existing rev limits. If there is no programming there, then there will need to be an extention of the curve added, and that takes a good dyno and a lot of attorneys if you screw up. BOOM!
