Is the FMF pipe good for a 2004 Predator? Any idea in HP gain compared to the WB pipe?

 

FMF is junk and so is WB.. Go with big gun or HPD they seem to be the best....

 

yup.... he said it... i dont like fmf 4-stroke... and the WB pipe only adds like 2 HP at the most...
id go biggun or HPD... also...


P.S. i say this every time a pred pipe question comes up... i guess we know who pays attention ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.

W/B E-series is the standard everyone else is compared to. Especially if noise is a issue, the big gun or HMF have VERY loud bark and you'll fail any sound checks if that is a concern.

ANY and ALL aftermarket exhausts will be VERY close in gains, most likely within 5-10% of each other. Noise on the other hand goes up much louder for hardly any more gains.

I like the loud sound, Thats the sound of power... Whats with this "i dont want a loud pipe" crap i see this in every forum?

Louder is better[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] but then again not too loud...

 

Do I want the full kit of Big Gun?

 

i would... i didnt and now i regret it.. only because if you buy the head pipe with the slip on.. its 180$... if you buy it later... its 230$

 

How much HP does the Big gun add?

 

5-6 with just the slip-on... so maybe 7-8 with head pipe..
