Default Riding "Costumes"

I was thumbing through a catalog today looking at helmets and passed by the riding "costumes". I must be out of touch or dreadfully fashion dead.

Does anyone else feel that dressing like a Battle Star Galactica reject or looking like you are wearing *Queer eye for the straight guy* pajamas while riding is not really your style ?
