I AM YET TO FIND A STOCK ATV THAT CAN EVEN COME CLOSE TO MY 03 PREDATOR!!!

 

How about a banshee?, I have a stock one but i have never raced a pred...

 

MY BUDDY HAS A 98 BANSHEE AND IM EATING HIM UP ALL DAY LONG!! PLUS IT IS PIPED

 

Thats great, All this good news makes me want a pred even more.... still saving......

 

You havent raced a YFZ then. Those damn things are fast! The only one I have been able to beat is a stock one, my Pred has a 13 tooth front sprocket,K&N, pipe and jetted.

 

I do alot of drags on sand and the quad that beats my pred consistantly is the DS650 and I have beat some of those but I am pretty sure it came down to the rider. I have raced one yfz and beat it, it was prolly stock.

 

I raced across a lake last year against a fairly new stock predator and my speed was and still is stock . He got me off the line because I did a wheelie and almost went over backwards "rookie drag racer". He had me by 50 feet because of that and it took me almost a quarter mile to catch and finnaly pass it. Congrads to polaris for stepping up and building a serious sport quad. A local shop has been experimenting with a 700cc plus kit and he claims 100mph plus top speed but are having trouble keeping the bottom end together. I think the tranny let go .

UPDATE As luck would have it I got a chance to run agianst the same predator from a year ago. My still stock speed has just a slight edge in top speed but acceleration is the same now. The predator has a full exhaust now and some type of airbox mod with jetting. I will post pics of our ride soon.

Its been 11 months and my cannondale and the predator have had no failures or breakdowns except for flat tires . I have no idea how many hours the predator had in the last year but I broke 200 hours .
