WHAT WOULD YOU PICK IN A DRAG RACE BAYOU 220 OR RECON 250?

 

No brainer! Recon all the way! Dirt Wheels (I know, not the most reputable source availible!), but I happen to agree and believe this shoot out that they had last year. It was between the Yamaha Beartracker 250, the Polaris Trailboss 250, the Kawasaki Bayou 220, and the Honda Recon 250. The Kaw Bayou 220 came in dead last in almost every catagory! I've riden the Bayou, and own a Recon, and there is ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON WHAT SO EVER!!!!! By the way, EVERY test rider in the shoot out picked the Recon to be the bike they would buy! I agree. The Recon is very nice ride. The Bayou was smaller & felt like a kids quad.

No comparison go with the Recon.

 

Recon would ripp that tiny little kawasaki.
The recon has way more bottom end and is just a all around better machine.

I got a friend that has the Bayou 220 and another that has the Recon.We all went on the Fitler Ride in MS and they both made it out but the Recon was bone stock and the Bayou had 22' Bearclaws.I would get the Recon.
