There's a 1985 Honda 350X for sale locally. The bike has average wear and tear for its age, and the engine is locked up. I would like to make an offer on the bike. What does a 350X with average wear and tear and a locked up engine go for?

180 bucks $$$$$ that sounds about right.

 

I would put my limit at $250. With it running and lookin' good it is worth about $900. It is a pretty easy trike to work on and parts are fairly easy to get.

I'd offer $200 bucks they sell running all the time for about $500 around here.

 

I bet he doesn't sell it to you for less than 400.

I want to see one ad (let alone all the time) for a running 350x for less than 900. Doesn't happen in MI I can tell you that.

 

Just to make you sick...I bought my 84' 200X three monts ago for $300. It is perfect except for a 3" crack at the rear fender. Other than that it has great tires, good engine and 100% straight!

 

Well here is the update. I contacted the guy via e-mail a week ago and asked how much he wanted for the bike and when I could pick it up. Since then I have not had a response from him. I imagine he sold it, but if he does get back in touch with me I will let you know how it goes and post pics. As for now, I am still on the hunt for a ATC. If you know of any deals within a couple hours drive of Louisville Kentucky, let me know.

would like to buy one of these you have around your town, I haven't seen them go for less than $1100 in oklahoma or Nevada. they are a nice 3 wheeler to have parked in the yard, if it doesn't run I would run away from it their is to many other 3 wheeler out there you can find and will cost alot less to fix up.

 

Yeah as odd as it sounds it seems noone around here will pay more than $500 for an atc 350x or any for that matter.
