I was wondering if there was anyone out there that could tell me if this is a good deal.

I've got a chance to buy an 02 Pairie 650 for $5500 out the door. The machine is brand new. The dealer never sold it. What do you folks think? Kelly Blue Book (for whatever that's worth) says that a used one in pristine condition is worth 5200. I think '02 was the first year for the 650. Were there any kinks or issues with this machine being the first year of production?

That's about right with tax.

Do a traderonline.com search for a new 2003 P650 in a 250 mile radius. You may get an 03. I got my 03 new for 5825.00 out the dooor 6 months ago. They improved on some things from 02 to 03.
