You guys know where I can find a cut Banshee tranny?

 

Override cut or just dogs removed?

 

UM, I'm not really sure. It's for my buddy who has a banshee with pro circuit pipes, .060 bore. Alba Port and all sorts of stuff. He drag races it all the time and asked me to try and find a cut banshee tranny on the net for something around $500.

He said all it does is make it where you don't have to use the clutch to start off and then you just shift up without hesitation.

 

Must be talking about something different than what im thinking about. Im thinking about how you cut an angle into the dogs so they stick better with alot of pressure on them and it dosent pop out of gear.

 

Anyone have any idea's or can help?

 

Are you referring override tranny?

 

override tranny and yes most shops around me do them for around 500$

 

I have a guy in CA that does the 2-5 override tranny that he put in my 421 cheetah that workds great. I think he charges $400.00.

 

Yeah, that is what I'm talking about. So that you can shift up for drag racing.
