I just went and looked at a 99 400 sport, it needs a battery and the exhuast seemed a little bit of surface rust, the owner said he
had abot 10 hours on it and i knew someone else who backed that story.

what do you think a fair price would be? i offered 2250.

I live in Mass. I picked up a 99 sport 400 that was ready to run with some scratches and normal wear on tires for $2,000 at a dealer. Hope this helps. Also when you get it get the oil pump block off kit. Mine was not working correctly and I noticed more power by pre mixing the fuel.

I had a 99 Sport. It was in mint condition. I advertised it in the local paper during the height of ATV riding season (SPRING) and didn't get one phone call. $2000-$2250 sounds good.

 

if its in good shape at that price with 10 hours i think it would be a steal..
