I have a 700 Sportsman that I purchased back in September, so this bike is pretty new. We were out riding this weekend, and while I was in the mub I riped my handlebars off the bike. It looks like the bars were welded onto a stearing rod, and this item just snapped. I am wondering if anyone else has heard of this problem? Was it due to a faulty weld, or was it due to the way I ride the bike? Either way it is under Warrnty, just wondering if I should change my riding style. Thanks for your input.

 

They should bend before anything breaks off. Sounds like a bad weld to me.
