Default 2004 Baja X V.S. 2003 Baja??

Text Ok I think it's getting to be that time of year again, I am going to trade like i do every year. But there is one major question, please if you have owned a 2002 or 2003 baja and now own a 2004 baja X i am wanting to know the differance in the feel. I have read some reviews on the new X and they say it's kinda tippy? mine a 2003 baja is very stable .... i need to know which one you guys recomend!

and please explain why? and what did you pay for it and did you buy a extended warranty and how much do they run?

thanks alot you guys are great!

It doesn't feel tippy but it does want to wheelie very easy with the shorter swingarm. I swapped out my swingarm for an 03 swingarm and it feels much better. I got mine for $6700 OTD.

It wasn't to bad. You have to swap the upper bearings in the 04 swingarm and put them in the 03 swingarm, Change the brake mounting plate that attaches to the hub carrier with a 03 plate, get a longer brake line, longer chain, all 4 of the plastic rub rails, & the lower shock spacers. It took me 3 weeks to finish mine because everytime I would get something done I would have to order another part to keep going.
