I have a 95 400L engine and the flywheel has 6 magnets, would a 400l sport/scrambler flywheel with only 4 magnets work on my quad? My flywheel has been lightened and balanced, gears removed, 3lb. 9oz, one magnet has been cracked for 3 yrs - i need to put electric starter back on (wife cannt start it and now may race it also)- does anyone want to trade for a stock flywheel?

What cracked the magnet?

I am told they 4magnet ones wotn work.. dunno know for certain.

Ive lost to stock flywheels do to magnets comming off, dotn know for sur eif its the water ridin, or fualty gule?

 

You heard correct . Ther 4 magnet one won't work . I do think I have a used spare 6 magnet flywheel . Let me check this out tomorrow .
