2003 unmodded Raptor, and he out run by about 2 4-wheeler links. He had a White Bros. exhaust, K & N air filter, jetted, a bigger cam, and a different sprocket. We were neck and neck through the gears, but he pulled me just a bit on top end. I did not think this was too bad. I can't wait to get mine modified.

 

You'll be surprised at how well your raptor will run after you put on a good pipe. Like a Alba, or Sparks. That really makes them run.

 

that thing should of spanked you, pipe and the works, plus its a 2001 with the better gearing, very weird

 

I would congraguliate you but man, that guy should have walked circles around you, seriously,his bike really had to be running bad cause that should have NOT been a close race. You got real lucky my friend.

I bet the guy had the 01 Raptor geared down (smaller front sprochet or larger rear).
