raptor vs kfx 400

Ok, so I'm going to get a sport quad, question is, which one to buy. I love the raptor and I love the kfx400. I also love the bombardier. Which one would be the best overall quad for the money?

the KFX is a good nimble bike, good for beginers, the raptor will put out more power and will be faster then the KFX, but its slightly topheavy, but very good for trail riding (its narrow) the bombardier is going to beat both rappy and KFX out in the power department, but its a lot heavier. its really down to what your comfortable with and what you want in a quad.
if you want power and dont care much about weight and size, go with the bomb
if ya want a good trail bike with tons of power, go with rappy
the KFX is going ot have less power, but im assuming (i dont know exact KFX weight) its going to be lighter then the rappy and the bomb so your going to be able to throw it around.
peace

In stock trim the bomb is faster that the raptor, followed by the 400. I just don't like the bomb because it has no reverse and is a heavier than a sport quad should be. But if you want a trail bike it's tough between the rappy and the z. I like them both alot and have riden both on the trails. I might go for the Raptor even though I own a z400. The bombardier makes alot of power when it tweeked a little. Do your research.

I love my raptor, but i also hold a lot of respect for the kfx/ltz twins. They are pretty powerful machines and are very easy to handle and throw around. The bomb is the fastest quad, but is tailored to more of a dune riding crowd with it large size. Raptors are pretty cheap now with the introduction of the yfz450 and the trx450r so it might be close on price b/w a rappy and a kfx. Both are liquid cooled, 5 speeds with reverse. They come with the same tires and are both very good at taking modifications. Its a tough choice.
IMO, the very small concession made in the handling department is outweighed by the very noticable increase in power in choosing a raptor over a kfx/ltz. If you plan on mx then i would definately say the kfx. but if you plan on recreational riding in the woods and sand dunes, i would reccommend the raptor. either way you will have a great machine that will be a joy to ride for years and years. Good luck on your purchase.
