Default Yamaha Blaster Question Answer PLZ

I have a Yamaha Blaster. The stock tires are 21-10-8. Would 22-11-8 Maxxis Razr tires on Aluminum Rims fit it?

Why would you want to make the tires bigger?! They will fit as long as your aluminum rims are 8's as well. i run 20-11-8 and thats the perfect fit. It's one inch smaller and one inch longer which picks up pretty good on the blaster.

It won't mess anything up and will give you a little more ground clearance. It is going to change your gear ratio and you'll probably need to raise up your rear sprocket by a tooth.

I put 20-11-8s on my blaster with the stock rims. the tires rub the mud guards when i turn fast. so i took off the mudflaps untill i can get offset rims, and now the tires rub the metal heelguards when i Power-slide. so after you mount the tires make sure the widest part of the rim faces OUT and that the tire clears the mud guard and heel guards enough. mine only clears by about a half-inch on each side, but i cannot find 20-10-8 tires anywhere, always 11's.

you all seem to have forgotton that it doesnt matter what size the rim and tire are... but it needs the same bolt pattern.
