Hi all. Got a little question. I have a bud with a trx 300(I know, it has 4 wheels). The cam galled, and messed up the head and cover. Got another bud with a 350x, completely trashed, but still runs. Will the head from the 350x fit the trx 300? Hate to part the trike out, but it's pretty much a pos.

No. It's a completely different engine.

You can however use the head from an '85-'87ATC250ES BigRed, '85-'87ATC250SX, and the '85-'87TRX250

Well maybe, after its fixed. My bud was upset after seeing the damage, so he went and got a new rancher. Ill keep ya in mind though.

 

oh because i have a 86 250es big red and it is geting old when i fix one thing some thing eles goes so if it was for sale i would use the part fron my big red to fix it

 

would the 350x be for sale? i have a 250sx that has prett ymugh the same top end and it is a complete good runnign motor sso le tme know what os going on then?

Sounds like it ran out of oil. Did it or did the pump quit working? Clogged screen?

Better figure it out before you throw a new head and cam on it.
