If the cam has a long duration you may not be able to cross measure the cam itself with a mic, you would need to either install it or put it in a v block and measure it with a dial indicator.

This seems to be a trend with Web Cams, on my XR650 Warrior the specs. are nowhere near what they say it should be. they are from web.
i measured them using calipers, the same way i measured the stock cams. the stock cams measured correctly this way. the duration isn't huge on these web cams. web says to use the dial indicator method also, but i still think they will fall short of .425".
