Where do you ride?
For $1600 I would think the TVI 720 kit would be right up your alley.
However, don't expect that kind of HP unless you have a very generous dyno!
Is your K&N directly mounted to the carb? That adds power and is great for dune riding but, if you are going to ride in the mud it may not be the best.
You really need to look at the whole package before you modify. You'll need bigger valves with the TVI 720 for the best performance. Also, heavy duty valve springs, cams, etc. You'll probably also want heavy duty clutch springs.
Check out Ron Wood racing for their kits. The Ron Wood stage two kit is probably the best bang for the buck and may be the most reliable kit out there. It isn't a bigger bore but, it will give you quite a bit more power than you have and price wise I think it is in your budget.
Just thinking, does the HMF have a spark arrestor? I could guess from there you mostly ride Sand Mt.???

Modify endcap, or Ron Woods exhaust
Vortex CDI
14:1 piston(mr. HP)
Better carb(TM45,46HV lectron)
Ronwoods 7 cams
This should take care of your "need for speed" and if you have any money left over, you will need to get a longer swing-arm
bigger.

I run the RW CDI, but I have talked with people alot smarter than I and they all say that the Vortex is better. I'm not going to spend $$$ on changing from my RW CDI,cause I think I have my motor set-up for the amount of timing I have.
But I think for the money if someone was buying NEW then the Vortex would be worth the extra cash. JMO.
