My friend can trade his 300ex for a cr500 with lots of mods. He also has a 86 250r and he was wondering if it would be worth it to install the cr engine into the r. Also how much would this conversion cost him. Thanks

 

There has been a few guys on here that have done that conversion and all have liked the power but couldn't stand the vibration.

There was one guy who had some modified engine mounts that cut down on the shaking. He was on here somewhere around the Fall of 2002 and I haven't seen him on here since. You may want to try a search for his post.

 

i figure you would vibrate right off the back.
