I have a stock 1997 banshee, like brand new, garage kept, now im going to build it to race, what should i do to it guys???

 

Get Alba stage 3 pipe kit... comes with jet kit, k&n and there pipe, and race cap

I have a K&N in it, thats all though...i thought about either DG or Pro Circuit pipes to go on it, would that cut down H.P.?

Get some pro circuit's, or cpi pipes. They work great for drag racing.

Or you can get a complete pipe kit from Alba with FMF Pipes. You may want to look into some porting as well. That helps a banshee a ton.

 

Hmm, Id DEFINATELY get an extended swingarm, prolly a +4 or +6, get some CPI inframe drag pipes, i heard they are the chit, Maybe bore it up .060 after a while, MUST trim the plastic for less air flow (trim both front and back), thats just a start, BTW, how much money do you have? You could always get a cheetah or T-Rex engine that gives around 140 hp, but theyre about $4500.00.

 

Yamaha660r, does that alba stage 3 pipe kit help the raptor a lot?
