Ok..my raptor give a puff of blue smoke after it has set for awhile....even if i put around after its intial start up it will puff alittle....is this normal...After its riden it stops...Thanks guys and let me know if im going to have a problem...

 

You could have a little oil wicking down the valve stems while it sits and fuel washing it into combustion when running .
What kind of oil are you running ? just wondering

 

mine did that when I went to my 686 motor.........I had the fire ring in the head gasket wrong, causing antifreeze to seap into the cylinder.......
and it was hard starting.........and when it did.........it shot out a huge puff of smoke........then it ran perfectly.......

 

How did you break it in?

 

Well i am currently running Castrol, but it did it before my first oil change...The atv has only about 6 tanks of gas run trhough it and it was definately broken in correct...it felt like it took me forever but i did moderate speeds and all....Thank you guys for the feed back and is there anything i can do or get checked to see if im having a problem?
