hey guys....i was lookin for advise on starting my own atv parts business....i dont want any namebrand parts....i have my own metalworking shop and most of the things i need for it....what i want to do is start making simple things, like skidplates, grab bars, bumpers...you name it....out of raw titanium(6-2-4-2). i have a good source of the titanium, and cheap too. i think that i may be in a position to sell my parts at maybe only slightly above "namebrand" aluminum junk. the markup on these parts is rediculous. theres probly only a few dollars in aluminum for these parts, and the machining is uncomplicated. what i want to do is start out on ebay, never actually owning a storefront...per say...
ok...ive never worked extensively with titanium, but ive ordered a sheet to experiment with. if anyone has worked with, is working with or has had the same idea, any info would be great.....
