how much sec it would take to a stock ds-650 to go 0-60
#4
I'd say it would be closer to 7 seconds. On our 300' dirt track mine (when it was stock) and most others run in the 5.70s at around 54 mph, and that's with a wheelie bar. Most bikes that run 6.0's run around 50 mph.
Of course on blacktop I'd say it is very possible to do it in 6. Less resistance.
My half-educated guess.

On an 1/8th mile (660 ft) asphalt strip, my bone stock DS turned a best of 8.9 seconds at 69.xx mph.

i dont mean dirt track's...
i mean on hard flat road like high ways the ds should be quicker there than he does on a dirt track...
i think a ds should do less than 6 sec to 0-60 on highway or some other flat roads...
take a look there a pred should make 0-60 5.5 there ---> http://www.karnesec.net/schef/predat...mage-small.jpg

I would have to say that the Ds could do 0-60 in about 5 sec. Because in the ATV action mag thier Baja ran the 1/8 mile in 8.98 seconds. My 87 Mustang's fastest 1/8 mile was an 8.67 and it does 0-60 around 4.8 seconds or so. I would figure a regular Ds to run the same if not a little quicker than the Baja in the 1/8 mile because of less weight. So I figure low 5 second times like around 5.2-4 or so. I am wanting to get a g-tech and hook it up to my DS to see what it says my 0-60 is. Also A four wheeler would jump a street bike right off the line. Because the 4 wheeler is stable. You can lean up on the front end and dump the clutch. A street bike rider has to keep his feet down when he takes off and they have to slip thier clutch more while taking off. But it wont take any time before the street bike shoots by you like a rocket. When I say take a street bike off the line I mean for a very short while.

Note: This person had a slightly modded quad. Your 0-60 is definetely dependent on your. gearing/tire setup. I have 22" rears now, and am definetely not as quick as stock, but GPS over 80mph.
