Damn, is this snow deep!

Took out the Sportsman today and went for a little ride. Well attempted anyway. Snow is about knee deep everywhere. I have chains on the rear but that doesn't help much when you are dragging bottom. Many other quads have stopped going long ago but finally the snow has stopped my Sportsman as well. I guess for the next 45 days or so the snowmobiles will be king of the land. Soon enough I will be able to ride again and then the quads will return to their rightful place on top of the mountain....and will remain there for the next 10 1/2 months. So goes the joys of living in the mountains of Northern PA.

I posted that on Sunday and now it's Wednesday.......and we have 6 more inches on top of what I was already complaining about. Sucks having a new quad and I can't ride it. I think I have like 22 miles on it so far......that isn't even close to being broke in.

tell me about it, had to plow a path all the way around our yard with the snow blower wish i would have got some pics, whenever i got stuck i had one of my friends push me with the 650 and i had to get towed back in reverse (that was quite the experience going through 2 1/2" of snow with a lawn tractor)
it was worth it when we got out the tube and tied it to the back of the 650 though

I am also from Pa and yea i think we got a little to much snow. I plowed a path around my yard just to play around in but that same little path gets boring after awhile. I had my scrambler stuck up to the front fenders last week and it was stuck so bad a winch wouldnt get it out so we had to bust out some shovels.
