I just got back from our vacation at Black River Falls. Went there with 9 machines. Going there we had a trailer tire that popped, which delayed us enough to not get any riding in on Friday. Saturday we went for a short ride (40 miles). We didn't really care for that many whoops on the trail. I ride a 300EX and even I thought that there were too many whoops, and the others on the Sportsman 500's definitely agreed. The next day was a lot better, surely the best day of the 3 we were there. We took a different route on the trail, and this trail had a lot less whoops and was very scenic. Saturday was very warm and it was extremely dusty. Sunday morning it rained, and off and on all day. We got caught in a lot of rain while on the trail, and one thunderstorm that scared the crap out of all of us riding in the woods when lightning hit and cracked loudly. My Uncle says it was just him cracking the throttle on his Sportsman 500
We all loved riding on Sunday. You wouldn't think riding in the rain would be fun, but it was awesome. No dust, and everything was greasy. We got to a bar in Milston and ate a bite, when it started pouring so we waited that out playing darts and pool and stuff. After it let off, there were puddles all over. Almost every turn would kick the back tires loose, and it was raining so we were making awesome time coming back to the truck. No injuries, no breakdowns, and no crashes. Everything worked flawlessly during the ride. Put on 85 miles total. Went to a waterpark in Black River Falls also and spent a lot of time in the indoor pool at the hotel.
Sportsman99, Oconto County's Dusty Trails is an awesome place to ride.

Sportsman99,
Where is dusty trails?
I will have to check with my wife to make sure I don't have anything else going on, but I would definetly be interested in going up for a day.
Drop me a line on my e-mail daniel.j.czerwinski@jci.com and I will get in touch with you about this weekend.
