Warn winch is fixed on my p700
#1
Thanks guys for the help.
I called warn manufacturing today and talked to a guy in the service department and explained to him that my winch would not freespool at all and the disengage **** on the side of the winch was very hard to turn. He told me to loosen the 4 allen head bolts on each side of the winch 4 on the left and 4 on the right. He said to just barely loosen them alittle at a time and do it equally on each bolt so I did this and after the 2nd time of loosening them alittle at a time the cable started to freespool and the disengage **** got alot easier to turn and it locks in place now when you turn it to the disengage spot and the cable will freespool also. The guy that I talked to said someone at the factory must of been getting them way to tight he said he has been getting alot of calls about people having the same problem. So hopefull this has cured the problem. So if anyone else is having a problem with there cable and disengage **** being to tight try this.
Thanks again for all your help.

Did you try loosening the 4 allen bolts up on each side of the housing on your winch yet to see if it helped. Iam glad it worked on mine because I was getting %$ssed at mine a brand new winch and it was screwing up already.
Let me know if it works for you.
