I ride with a fox helmet. Can't remember the model. It's comfortable without limiting too much of the perhipreal vision.

I think Bell is probably the best but as long as it has a DOT and SNELL approval your in good shape, I have a HJC right now but it's about 5 years old and I'll probably replace it this year or next. Wearing a helmet is a good decision, you never know when something will happen, I used to ride street with no helmet and it took a little while to get used to it but now I can't imagine riding without one

I think the HJCs are the best for the money. I will be replacing mine with one someday. I ride onw with a older Vector helmet i do not like very much and I also use my Simpson Bandit with a shield and tear offs sometimes. The simpson is awesome but also 500 bucks......only reason I have it is because I race stock cars.

 

colby sorry to hear what happen to your mom hope she's ok .I have a helmet from the suzuki house that i bought for 80.00$ and i love it it comfortable and light weight
