i am 13 years old and want to race a 400 i don't know if i am old enough, the one track i was at to watch the races said i have to be 16 is this a rule at every track?

 

bottom line is every quad manufacture is going to say age of 16 or older for that size quad and I guarentee you every organization and track is going to follow that very footstep. Unfortunately you are going to be stuck usning a smaller quad to race.

 

I am in that same dang hole as you. I want to buy a 450, but then I said thats to much power for me. Then I went to a 400ex, and then I looked at the dang rules and it said 16. DANG-ET! MAN!!! I AM NOT RACING A 90CC KIDIO FOUR WHEELER!

You have to be 16 to run Pro-classes, but AM classes you should be able to enter. There is a 9-14 year old class at local tracks, but the class is 200cc two stroke and 300cc 4 stroke.

 

dont they have like 13 to 15 yr old classes for like up to a 200cc 2 stroke and up to a 300cc 4stroke?

 

na it aint a rule at every track im 14 and a girl the only one out on the tracks but it aint a rule at everytrack im gonna b racin a yfz450 this summer u just gotta find the right places
