Default mud lites 26 inch to much?

I have a 03 Acrtic Cat 400 auto. I like the ITP 26 inch mud lites. Are these tires to heavy and will they bog this machine down in snow or mud?

I sold my friend some 25's and they lower his top speed a good bit, maybe 5-8 mph. He didn't mention much noticable power loss in the mud though. With 26's I would think some power loss would be noticable and even more top speed loss.

The 26's shouldn't be too much for a 400. Mudlites are lighter than other mud tires and that's why they call them MudLITES. As stated above, you would probably see a difference in top speed compared to stock sized tires.
