yeah. but if they say its never had a topend rebuild there pry lieing. a 4wheeler can go through alot of abuse in 15 years, remember that.

Ya, I've had a few friends buy banshees like that and the owners lie alot about those things just to get rid of them. Be very careful and make sure you get some time on it before you buy it to make sure it's running good and isnt gonna break down. Deffinatly ask if it's had a top end rebuild and ask about the history of the bike (whats been done etc). You'd be suprised how easy it is to look over something that is a major problem...My friend bought a 89 banshee and didnt even notice that the front shock was bent! Just make sure it's what you want. $1500 is really cheap which means there might be a problem and they are just looking to pass that problem to someone else that doesn't have knowledge to know how to find problems.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, but it will be hard to find a set of J-arms for it, there is a J-arm/A-arm conversion kit for it, but i dont know where to find it.

I would wait to find a A-Arm model Banshee, You can find 95 thru 2000 models anywhere from 1500 to 2500.

I owned a 89 model and it was hard to handle in the trails and high speeds.
