It's been done. Great power. The quality of the cylinder itself is the problem. It'd be a good project. Toss up between that and a cr500 cylinder.

Not feasable for most people. They do make alot of torque, but the work to make it mate is extensive. but the biggest problem is that if anything in the motor lets go it usually ends in a set of cases with a huge hole in the bottom of them. the cr500 idea is way too much for most people as well. it requires a ton of work. my advice would be to have a 370 prox set up built. fast, reliable, not that expensive.

Those motors arent anything to brag about. Ive seen several and they didnt run like you would expect them to.

Why would you put a fl400 cylinder on a 250R. C-mon just put a bike engine in it. Its a lot cheaper and less work for the same or most likely more power

FTZ is not the ones I'd have do it. They don't stand behind their work. Speaking from my own experience.

pilot motors are extremely fast. They'd destroy a polonda without even sweating it. You cant tell me youd think a 520 Pilot cylindered 250r wouldnt be fast...aside from that it holds the record for the fastest 250r based motor in a 100 yard drag in the world

cr500 cylinder hybrds arent impressive
