How do I bleed my V-Force brake lines???
#1
This weekend I will finally have time to install my new Galfer SS brake lines on my "V" (even got the nice billet brake line holders that attach to the A-Arms... he, he, he). Does anyone have some good advice or a link to a site that tells you how to properly bleed your lines after installing them? I don't want to screw this up. Thanks!

Best thing to do is go to Auto Zone, or a like store, and get a Mighty Vac break line bleeder kit. It will literally save you 40 minutes of squeezing the break lever.
If not, here's what you do:
Change breaklines according to directions.
Fill master cylinder with Dot 4 break fluid, check it every couple minutes, if you let it empty all the way, you have to start over.
pump break lever approximately twenty times. Loosen bleeder nut on left caliper, count to three, tighten back up. Repeat this step about twenty times. Until air quits coming out of the bleeder nut and you start to get some pressure on the lever. You probably won't see any break fluid for a couple times.
Now move to the right wheel, and repeat above steps about twenty times. Once you get pressure on the right caliper, go back to the left side a couple times, then finish on the right.
It's a pretty miserable job without the Mighty Vac, which cuts the job down to about 5-10 minutes. Doing it without the tool takes about 45 minutes.
