The only thing you will gain from a slip is looks. so if you like the look of it that is the slip on for you. But if it is power your after the MRHP end cap is the way to go if you don't want to buy a full pipe.

The only pipe I've heard of that can hurt powerwise is the MBRP and it choked up on the top end. It seems that any pipe will eliminate the dead spot in the low to mid range. It would be really cool for a bike magazine to do a shootout now there are so many pipe options for the DS. The MRHP endcap looks good but my rusty heavy exhaust can doesn't
If you are running the FMF, what have you observed?

mysteried,

I don't think any of the magazine editors like the DS650 enough to take the time to write a favorable word about it, let alone do some sort of <GASP!> testing with it. Perhaps we should have a pipe shootout at DS Days - totally seat of the pants but we'll find one DS that is stock & then switch a few pipes off people's ATVs then time & radar/GPS it up the hill. Certainly not as scientific as a dyno, but it sure is easier. Then we could post the results on the internet on a few DS650 websites.

We will be doing a dyno-day next month and plan to test several different systems.

You got an E-series for sale?
Is that the slip-on? (I'm new to this)
I want to get a slip-on for 04 baja X.
Something with a littke HP and a nasty sound to it.
My buddy has the E-series on his Raptor and it sounds great!
