now i am not saying it is true, but in theroy, wouldnt lightened automatics be best for hills because they dont have to shift? Just wondereing because i can do some hills on my tb that my friend on his balster cant.

im not really sure either but i think it would b/c manual shift u loose speed and momentum when u shift gear to gear and if your not an experience manual shift rider you are prob going to stall it and wreck some time

i think that makes sence. In the end, a great hill climber can climb most hills with ne bike, and a rookie might have trouble on the best machine.

Hill climbing comes down to rider in most cases. But I have seen the 4 strokes start out climbing the two strokes lately due to their ability to lug.
I have climbed my fair share of steep hills on my Raptor, I've seen some good riders on 400EX's well. Can't forget the Banshee's though, a +3 swing arm extension and the Banshee's around here fly up most any climb.
